Pretty in Pink and Polka Dots

This has to be one of my favorite creations to date! I love the colors, the texture, the little bit of glitz, the fluff, the polka dots... I mean who doesn't love polka dots? It has the perfect amount of style and whimsy. I want to make a bigger one for me (Is it too young?)! I'd love to make one for you too.

Every Heart Beats True...

...'neath the Red, White, and Blue!

I have fun making hair accessories, and even though I'm happy when a payday comes around, I'm a little sad that I can't keep a copy of them all. Although it tickles me to no end to see someone wearing one of my creations. The saddest part is that I don't often get to make anything for my girls. They're stuck with my early work before I started selling, and the mishaps. For the Fourth of July I really wanted to make some fun accessories to amp up the festive spirit.

I was happy with how they turned out. I plan on keeping these for a change, but if you want something patriotic to complete your look, I'd be happy to make it for you. July 24th, Labor Day, Veteran's Day (or if your kids wear uniforms to school like mine, Every Day)... all perfect for showing your colors!

Here Comes the Bride

I sell some of my wares to a local bridal shop (Veronica Michael's) from time to time. I was so excited when I had a request for some flower clusters for a bride's dress! Flattered as I was, it also stressed me out a little. Sticking a clip in your hair is one thing, but putting my flowers on your wedding dress? I hoped I would live up to her expectations.
She requested a cluster of two for her shoulder,
and a cluster of three for her waist. I hope it worked out. I didn't get to see them on the dress. I wish I had pictures!
The bride also wanted a headband, which I was more than happy to make.
I still can't believe I made it into a wedding!

And For the Bridal Party...

The aforementioned bride also wanted some clips for her bridesmaids. I hope they liked them!

Flower Girl

I borrowed my cute niece and her beautiful red hair for this set of posts. Too bad I didn't choose better lighting.`The pictures are washed out, loosing some color and detail. Live and learn I guess.
